The Chun-Sheng Temple was fundamentally built on the belief in Shintoism, taking Confucian ethics as the home for "Daoism" and attempting to use religion as the means of cultivating men's integrity and wisdom.
At the intersection of Da-Ya and Tian-Jing Roads, the sublime structure of the Chun-Sheng temple stands. The statute of Yao-Chi-Chin-Mu (the Golden Mother) sitting on the dragon chair, dressed in the golden dragon robe, holding the dragon-head walking stick in her hand and wearing an elegant yet sacred expression , is stationed at the top of the roof. The main building consists of two levels with a guard chamber on each side of the main hall and both the left and right guard chambers contain a mezzanine. The architecture of the building is a mixture of traditional and modern design. On the middle column of the roof, there is a "tiger with dragon's body." On the protruding ridge, there is a "fairy in beast's body," whose look is very funny. The name "Chung Sheng Temple," which is very eye-catching, is written in golden color on a board with red paint. The roof is supported by four red pillars, conveying the magnificence of the architecture. |
