In February 2001, RT-Mart entered into a joint venture arrangement with Auchan, a French-based supermarket giant with more than 40 years of experience in the retail distribution industry, introducing a more global management approach. Built on its existing Asian-style supermarket chain, RT-Mart plans to progress towards a global supermarket chain to offer customers more superior services. |
